NX Filtration is your membrane partner for treating water and filtering beverages. We produce in the Netherlands advanced hollow fiber membrane modules for nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration applications.

Our technology is capable of selectively removing organics from polluted water, including micropollutants, color, antibiotics, PFAS, bacteria and viruses. This has resulted in new and simple processes for the treatment of water, the reuse of wastewater and the production of potable water. 

The Hollow Fiber Nanofiltration (HFNF) membranes offer the unique combination of a low fouling hollow fiber configuration with the ability to remove organics and salinity (hardness) from water. Other than a strainer or sand filtration, no further pre-treatment is required. We manufacture our membranes with a patented layer-by-layer process, where multiple nano-scale layers are deposited on a membrane support. This method enables very precise and controlled rejection and flux properties of the membrane. A unique solution for troubled water.

Our HFNF membranes are the solution for color removal, COD/BOD removal, reclamation of cleaning solutions or coloring dye from water. Creating potable water directly from surface water, reclaiming industrial waste water, or removing medicine residues, microplastics and endocrine disruptors from waste water are areas where NX Filtration’s dNF membranes excel.

We also offer cutting-edge Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes designed to deliver exceptional performance and sustainability. Our UF membranes are the ideal choice for retaining microorganisms, yeast, and suspended particles, while allowing salts, proteins, and smaller organic molecules to pass through effortlessly. This selective filtration ensures optimal water treatment tailored to diverse applications.

Built PFAS-free with modified polyethersulfone (PES) chemistry, our membranes exhibit outstanding chlorine tolerance and pH stability, making them reliable even under challenging operating conditions. Engineered for versatility, they operate in an ‘inside-out’ configuration, adaptable to semi dead-end or cross-flow modes, enabling precise control of fouling rates and enhanced durability.
